Just heads up for anyone coming to FORD Nationals in June and running route 11/15 south. There is a detour in place where 11/15 connects with 22/322. The detour is in place cause PennDot is working on the mountain just north of where 11/15 connects with I-81. So plan ahead.

I am kind of wishing now, in retrospect, I would've signed up for this event, as well as setting aside vacation time for it.
By all inclusive purposes, it appears this year's National SHO Convention is going to be a complete bust/wash out.
So I am beginning to regret commiting to that, which like I said, appears is going to be one ginormous fail at this point.
No hotel. No track. Talk of eliminating the car show, possibly parsing it down to the weekend rather than the traditional week long event from years prior.
I hope y'all have a blast at Carlisle this year. I will have to lend this event some serious consideration for 2017.

Mike, I know you would have a great time here, the amount of vehicles is amazing, and the people are really great...hope you will give it some serious thought, it would be great to have you join us, not to mention, you would WOW the crowd with your car!

Mike, with your vehicle being among the (if not "the") most distinguished Gen 6 SHO vehicles in the country it would truly be a tragedy if you didn't to make the Nationals.
Sadly both I and the Bull had to pull out and cancel our trip and hotel reservations, though I may come down for the day (highly unlikely) in a different vehicle. If I had known you'd been considering it I would have sent you my showfield sticker (at no cost to you) which also was set up for the parade. Tragically I got it today and sent it back to Pennsylvania for a refund.
If you can swing it, please try. It's really a great time.

I'm all registered, got my sticker. Haven't seen the color coded event map to see where we will be located this year.

We are on the back wall against the Turnpike. For those of you who attended 2013/14 Think gate entrance and registration......Remember the food hut just north of the wash area? Take that row all the way down to the perimeter fence and we are just east of that. It does appear and I will have to double check my work but appears we finally got TAURUS/SHO as a separate classification where it used to be SHO and Regular Taurus was grouped in with full size.
