I wouldnt mind a pair of carbon fiber mirrors. But thats about it. I am looking to buy one of those carbon fiber kits for the interior trim. Not sure if I want to get the neon blue, or go with the brushed alluminum look, but cant get that in carbon fiber.

carbon fiber looks so cheap...On race cars it's cool. On street cars, it looks really crappy.

I like the looks of brushed aluminum...carbon fiber just looks so....plastic...

i guess everyone is intitled to thier own opinions, but judgeing by all the cf hoods out there on cars not everyone thinks the way you do

so if you got race wheels of a ''race car'' they would be crappy because there on a street car?

if anyone needs anything in cf done email us.

90% of the carbon fiber hoods you see out there are on crappy little ricers. They have no real advantage for 90% of the people that use them, because a stock Civic will see no real performance gains by reducing the weight...

Are you saying you can do virtually anything?? I'm talking outside body parts, hood, fenders, bumpers. What ever I can pull off.

I can imagine that it will be quite costly. So I would probably do one part a year, since I still have to pay attention on other parts of the car. I'm also not talking about a group buy to try and save money, just a price for one and how long you talkin to do it.

Yes, but with the performance/dollar ratio, weight reduction, especially replacing interior/exterior parts with lighter pieces, is not the best option in most cases.

Other than looks, you can probably get a fiberglass hood and trunk lid made for cheaper...these pieces rarely make contact with anything, so the typical "(crappily-laid) fiberglass always cracks!" argument doesn't really matter. Heck, you can get better weight reduction by changing out the stock seats with some light weight ones- in most cases you loose 40-60 lbs. per seat.

After you do everthing you mentioned, you still have the weight of the metal or plastic pieces on your car. So CF will help. Every pound matters.

As far how much is it worth. Evreone is different. CF is not a poor mans material.
You have to pay to play. And you can't win if you don't play.

Any way you could post an estimated price of a custom hood. Like stock, but a cowl hood. (GEN IV) Thanks.
Yeah that sounds good. If that was put on, would it help with the clearance issue of putting a supercharger or turbo in?
