Alright...I'm replacing the fuel pump in my gf's 2001 Taurus. I have it on jack stands and have the tank out. The lock ring came off with no issues but the pump assembly will not budge. I have read on here to twist it counter clock wise and it will come out but I've had no such luck. I've even tried the brass punch to punch it but it still won't budge! Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for your help!

I saw the arrow and I tried prying it up a little with a screw driver but it seemed like it was going to break the plastic. Mine has two tabs that stick out on top that seem they are there for twisting it but it won't move. I appreciate your help!
