It might sound like stupid question, but since ford vulcan V6 engine was used in below cars and they have manual transmission is there way to mount it into taurus?
1987–1997 Ford Aerostar
1986–2007 Ford Taurus
1986–2005 Mercury Sable
1990–1992 Ford Probe
1991–2008 Ford Ranger
1992–1994 Ford Tempo
1992–1994 Mercury Topaz
1994–2007 Mazda B3000
1995–2001 Ford Windstar

It will consume months of your life, cost (comparatively) absurd amounts of cash, and involve tons of custom fab work. But it's doable.

Aerostar, Ranger, and Mazda B3000 trucks are RWD, so their transmissions won't work. I didn't think the tempo/topaz V6 was a stick, though I think the probe V6 was.

You'll need to steal some electrical wiring from the donor car to get everything working properly, and an SCT tune to tell the PCM to stop looking for shift solenoids.

I've swapped auto to manual in two older vehicles. Did it in a junkyard where I parked side by with the donor car. Is an unbelievable task, have to change many more parts than you could ever expect.

I didn't think the tempo/topaz V6 was a stick, though I think the probe V6 was.
Later years of Tempo/Topaz could be equipped with a Vulcan and a manual transmission.
