Hey I was thinking on changing the seats in the Sable.

I know the 89-95 SHO Seats have a Racing look to them. I was wondering if the 96-99 SHO Seats were different too? If so, would they fit a 98 Sable? Also how much are we talking about? Just curious.

I have a pair of tan front seats from my sister 95 GL ;)

When I got my leather seats in, I put my cloth seats from my 00' ino her 95' the bolts line up, the only problem is the connection for her power seats were diff.. with a little splicing and chaning of the wires, you can get them to work, i did!

since my seats from my 00 went into her 95 than I'm sure that the 96-99 seats are the same bolt pattern as well.

ok cool, is there a difference in the style seats of a 98 Sable LS and a 98 Taurus SHO?

I want some race style seats, but with out the "5 point harness" lol

I thought you DIDN'T want the five point harness.

I like those sparco-style seats, but the harnesses and the harness bar are a little too much for me. It's not like that thing is running 10's in the quarter or anything.

I think the SHO seats are awesome. Here are the ones that were in my 99 SE Sport.

They are like big recliners. Very comfortable and they smell great! B)
