OK, I just found out about another car show in the area that would be great if we could get a bunch of taurus's to show up at. This one will be on Sunday October 4th at the Ford engine Plant in Brookpark Ohio. This is right off of I-71 and I-480. Since its the home of the duratec and they even have a huge sign on the front of the building I think it would be great to make a showing here. The show is a BENIFIT show for the Juvinile Diabetes Reserch Foundation, there will be door prizes, dash plaques, and music. I havent found out about trophies or anything else yet, but will find out and post with more info later.

UPDATE..09/05
OK the show is listed as,

UAW / FORD 2009 JDRF Car Show. Sunday Oct. 4th ( rain date Oct. 11) 11:00am till 3:00pm. Cleveland Casting Plant, Brookpark Ohio. $10.00 donation / registration. All makes, models of cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome. TROPHIES for BEST in each class, door prizes, food & entertainment.
This should be a good show from what I was told, last year they almost filled up one complete lot.

I'll be there, if I can convince my mom to let me go, she doesn't like me driving my elderly Taurus long distances, but I'll be replacing the trans. soon, so I'll keep you posted.

:rofl2: YEA that would be nice, but doubt it will happen. Its not Ford putting on the show. I found out today that this is a big show, not just for fords. I was told that the last couple years they almost had one lot filled with just the show cars. I'll be talking to the promoters in a couple weeks so I will post more then.

Oh man 11am : \ that means I would have to leave about 1:30am form my house then leave the show at 3pm to come home, and I'd get back around mindnight. I highly doubt I can go because A-I work at 4pm that sunday. B-I have school Monday, though the school part is no issue.

The show at the Brook Park Ford plant went off great today, even though it was a cold cloudy day, there were still well over 300 cars in attendance. The 'ol red wagon showed well at the home of the duratec and the employees who came out for the show loved seeing what could be done with one of there own. Of course, there were a ton of 5.0, boss 302 and boss 351 mustangs, but the boss 429's stole the show in the V8 family. Alot of other cars showed up as well, but Ford was the best represented out of all of them. I must admidt, my 'ol 03 wagon lost the taurus spotlight this time, when a bright red 2010 SHO pulled up in the lot, with less than 500 miles on it. The 2010 looked great, but what a disapointment on that motor, you cant see anything but a big plastic cover. :p
