Ok I will try to explain this here without a picture, since for some reason I am al of a sudden not able to upload a pic. By the way. Any one who can help with Win XP Home here is the thread so you can see the problem I'm having

http://www.taurusclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4711

Anyway....A month ago my gen III was violated. She is still in therapy. When the perverts broke in. They pried a part of the window outward.

The part I am talking about is on the front passenger window. When you look at your window rolled up it sits between the weatherstripping and the part I am talking about. As a matter of fact the part actually presses the window up against the weatherstripping it is at the back of the window. If you have an idea what I am talking about please post a pic with that part outlined and I will tell you if that is it. Sorry. But that is the only way I can explain it

I have a diagram of the window components at work.... I'll scan it and post it if no one else does by tomorrow. With that you should be able to identify it.

Thats just weatherstripping. Go to an Autozone or something and tell them exactly what you need. They should be able to give it to you. It's relatively easy to install, but it needs to be done on a warm day so you can stretch the rubber...

JR

And why the heck did you have $200 worth of dvd's in your car???

Well duh. I had to go and look at my car again. Sorry if I wasted forum space on this question. If I had looked at the thing, Iwould have noticed

Well I have a DVD player in the car. But I had it mounted under the passenger seat. The only way to get it out would be to take the passenger seat out and remove the mounting bracket. So I was lucky there. Plus I had the car in my garage. Usually I take the DVD's out of the car. But the one night I don't it gets broken into. Go figure

Let me explain something to everyone. I can do a tune-up I can change brakes, I can even replace my exhaust system, with instructions. But when it comes to simple things like weatherstripping and body mods. I am totally lost. Until my beau comes back from overseas. So please bear with some of my ditziness

I have one of those at the shop on a parts car. Let me know if you need it, and it's yours for shipping.

Ditzy?? Hell, some of your posts make more sense than, well, let's just leave it at that.

Is your significant other in Iraq? I'm hoping not, but at any rate, pass along a "thanks" from us, for protecting us!
