So ya my dad went and got my brakes checked today while i was at work. WOW i was suprised. Everything was shot except my right front which had about half its capability. Cost me 300 to replace everything. My drums had disinigrated they feel apart when my mechanic was taking them off. They Calipers had been grinding and were squeezing on the rotor enough to take power which solves my gas milage problem because it was taking power which i already felt today. It was alot easier to make the tires chirp. But then my brakes wouldnt work worth anything. So now everything but my rotors have been replaced. I didnt think there was anything wrong with them but i was definatly wrong.

Not to lecture, but if you have the habit of chirping the tires, habits like that are hard on the tires, tranny, engine, half shafts....

Not that I have never drove my taurus hard, but don't be too hard on it.
