Can anyone inform me...(step by step prefered
) on how to change the FRONT brake pads on a 2001 Taurus? Mine needs done really soon or else I'm going to need new rotors. Help!! If anyone has pics of how to do it that would be great!

Thanks for all the help Bob. I really appreciate it. BIG QUESTION: Do I need to bleed the brakes to do this, and if so, how do I do that???? I'm getting some new Motocraft ones hopefully, and this is the first time we will be doing it. Can you ( or anyone else ) show me a write up about switching from drum to disc in the back? I remember reading about it on here awhile ago but haven't seen anything in a long time. I have some gen 2 SHO's I could get the rear discs off from...would those work on a gen 4?

: let the brake fluid drip top up master and then have someone pump the pedal and slowly undo the nipple to let old fluid and air out.
What the heck does let the brake fluid "drip top up master...." mean???
