thinking of replacing my brake pads with ceramic pads if for no other reason then to stop the brake dust. Has anyone changed to ceramic pad and if so how well do they work. car is gen 3 four wheel disc ABS.

I have been using QS pads from Raybetos, I put 4500 miles on them and there is no dust...

I installed ceramics on my wife's 98 Contour two years ago. Brake dust is gone and stopping is fine for a daily driver.

At the time, I could only locate them at a Carquest for about $65 per set. They were rebranded Raybestos QS pads.

thanks for the recommendation of the Raybesos QS pads At this point I found out I have bigger issues with the cooling system to deal with first thanks to Bob Gervais

Ceramics have less brake dust, but dont have the same performance as semi metalics.
