Hello all.
I've been a Ford man all my life and recently had the pleasure of buying a Taurus. It's a '92 3.0 GL(I think...) and I've got some brake problems.
I've checked and changed the pads, bled the system, and done everything else I know to do. The only other thing I can think of is either a vacuum leak (I hope) OR my booster is gone. The thing will stop; however, you almost literally have to STAND on the pedal to stop it. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated as this is my wife's car and I need my Ranger back to haul things to and from work.
Thanks in advance,
Eli

Sounds like the booster to me, verify you have vacuum to it also, It would be a good idea to replace all the brake hoses as well on a car this old. They can fall apart on the inside. Good luck.
