Some one came across this a while back. I thought he did a pretty good job custom molding the kit to his Taurus, but thought the back looked like a toddler dragging around a diaper full of poop....

Lower that puppy and pull that skirt up a bit.

Hmmm....I smell rice...no idea why though........

Oh I know why, because it's all the ricers that think that spending $1000 dollars on a body kit and a 5 foot wide wing on a FRONT wheel drive car
will make their car faster. All the while, good old stock Taurus pulls up with them at a light, and blows their god damn doors off, time and time again. However a rAcer will spend same said 1000 dollars on their engine, and blow our doors off and take our trunk lid with them.

Kits are 98% of the time aesthetic, and our cars aren't reaching speeds where the 2% of effective users are at, nor <facing the music> ever be at.

I think a drop, rims, tint, and a spoiler (not a wing mind you, but a spoiler) can look just as good, if not better (but much cleaner), than a full kit and paint job, unless you want to go full ricer status and put your kit on THEN save for another month for the paint job.

[/rice boy ranting]

EDIT: However, thanks to the remaining decline in the economy and job market, complete rice outs seem to be at an all time low, thank god.

EDIT AGAIN: Speed bumps anyone.....anyone....?

Needs side skirts...almost looks like a mustang. I agree on the rear end of the Gen 4, They need to al least put some lights back there, or maybe some spraypaint art, the rest of it looks ok if your into that sort of thing. I'm not one for body kits either, specially on my taurus....It bottoms out way to much on these new york roads as it is, i cant even keep scraps off my bumper. I just seen it, figured I'd show it.

I agree with someone that mentioned that it should of been lowered...it wouldnt of looked bad if it was a lot lower to the ground... and it doesnt help that the taurus is a tall car to start with

On the Gen IV, the front and back look a little plain. If they had added some contours or something to it instead of leaving it flat, it would have been a lot cooler.

Can anyone say

definitely looks like a Mustang kit on that yellow one. A bit too low on the rear and not low enough on the sides.

I like the white Gen 4 but think the fron and back are a bit too long when looking straight at it. At least offest it some with some pinstriping or some wicked a** paint.

I think an SC400 front and that rear with the right side skirts would look pretty good. Just have to keep the front round and the rea square like the factory did. Other than that just doesn't quite look right. That white one in gunmetal grey or dark charcoal with tinted windows would be about right. Perhaps one day when the prices have fallen off some. Also the kit is fiberglass, no thank you.
