Since you're mounting them higher, into the grill, why not get some driving lights then. They would look pretty much alike, but have some usefulness.

They wouldn't really affect the look you're going after.

It's not a matter of dislike but a matter of perspective.

And yours is the final arbiter.

You know what you want and why you want it. Some folks offer alibis, excuses, or rationalization. Instead, you tell it straight. You say "This is what I want because I like it".

Who can argue with that?
