Have any of you seen "Blood Work" or "Terminator 3?"
Both movies featured SHO's.
In Terminator 3 the two main charcthers are running away from the psycho lady. Arnold is trying to catch up on a cop-motorcycle. The guy driving a Toyota Tundra is not paying attention and the camera goes to the windsheild. We see a silver gen 1 SHO stopped at the light. The guy doesn't see the car until the last minute and slams on the brakes. The SHO is rear-ended. The guy gets out and says "You son of a b!tch...that was my company car!!! You better have insurance or I am going to RIP your [email protected] off." Then these cop cars come buy and RAM the SHO and it goes flying through the intersection.
Later during this same sequence, you see the SAME gen 1 Silver SHO (unsmashed) as a car parked on the street. The psycho is trying to get rid of Arnold and she smashes up all the cars right there. The camera then shows a view of the SHO quickly on it's roof.
Now, Blood Work (this was an EXCELLENT movie. If you haven't seen it, rent it!)
This guy has murdered two people. Clint Eastwood is looking for the mudurer. When he goes to this one market he looks up and a gen 2 green SHO is parked on the street with someone in it. He looks down, and back up, and the car is gone. Throughout the movie you hear some of the people he talks to say "I saw a sedan...I couldn't tell what kind or anything..." So then later in the movie, they almost have the case closed...when he looks up and the SAME SHO is parked in the same spot. This time he gets a shot gun and starts shooting. The guy in the SHO starts it up and you hear the engine and stuff revving...it was kind of cool...Anyway, he does a burn out into the ally and they get some really cool shots of the car. Then Mr. Eastwood shoots out the back window and the driver is flying down the ally. Then they go to an interior shot of the SHO, and the guy is stopped, revving the engine. Then he throws it into gear and they go to a front side shot and he smokes the tires down the ally. He comes flying out of the ally and does a 360* and gets hit by (a truck maybe?) and then they get a view of him speeding away.
So I thought it was pretty cool that Blood Work had an SHO that was actually a major part of the story. The one in T-3 was cool, but the one in Blood Work had some majorly cool shots. And the engine sounds great revving up.
If you haven't seen Blood Work RENT IT. It's AWESOME. Great story.
