Recently purchased 2010 Taurus SHO with 20" stock wheels. Looking at installing winter/wheels and tires and going with police interceptor look. Any issue with using OEM style 18x8 wheel, with 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern? Not looking for performance of low profile tires in winter weather - so planning to install 235/55-18 winter tires from Tire Rack. Any advice or concerns?

In doing a little research, I would check to see if the calipers are the same part numbers on the SHO. I did a quick aftermarket search and this is what I came up with:

SEL Brake part #'s
18B5214 Front Left
18B5215 Front Right
18B263 Rear Left
18B262 Rear Right

SHO Brake Part #'s
18B5468 Front Left
18B5469 Front Right
18B5467 Rear Left
18B5466 Rear Right

So without doing a visual comparison, the PN's are different, so there's a good chance that with the OE 18" steels could potentially rub the caliper. That being said, the NA Police package across all 3 engine choices has the same part numbers as the SHO. (Ess Aitch Oh, call it SHOW and I'll TP yo house!) So if you were to get a set of the actual steel police wheels with the dog dish wheels, it may not be an issue at all.
