Hey guys, I have a 2 gen Taurus and I would like to know which shocks and springs gives the most smooth ride.

Thanks!

Just one more thing, if I wish to pick up the parts my self, instead of buying a assembled piece, which are the other components I need to get? Do I need to watch out for compatibility between the parts or if I buy all pieces from monroe e.g it will work?

Thanks again!

If you get the Quick Struts you are good to go. If you get the parts separate you need strut mounts. I would consider replacing the endlinks as they may be in need of replacing.

Everything should work.

By the time you price out all the little components (bumpstops, strut mounts, bearing assemblies, ect) it is not worth the little bit of price difference for the the amount of time you spend assembling your own "quickstrut"

Also, you will never get the buick / olds smooth ride from a Taurus.
