Yes, very possible.

Get a piece of string run it around the pulleys, just like if you were putting on the belt. Bypass the AC Compressor (go over all the other pulleys but the AC). Make sure that the best will still be in correct route (grooved pulleys face front of the belt and smooth pulleys face the backing of the belt). Tie it off, take it in to any pepboys, autozone, kragen (checkers), or NAPA. They should be able to match it up. If not, some places have the option of NON-AC Taurus' and Sables.

More Power? Just a tad, but closer to none.

I mean, if you're going to not ever use the AC. Then go for it. Might get some more power adding that to a combination mod. Just my opinion though...

What Sal said is correct just don't forget to subtract an inch from the measured size of the string/rope to account for the tensioner. Also don't use any stretchy string materials (synthetic) since they would give you an inaccurate measurement. Bring that measurement to your local parts store, along with how many ribs your belt has (assuming it has ribs, i believe the gen2 did), and they should be able to help you get the right belt.

FYI, on belt sizing and part numbers. Let's say the belt number is 6K935 (ACDelco Part #). That part number indicates that the belt has 6 ribs and is 93.5 inches long. Hope that helps ;)

go to the dealership n ask for a new belt.. they'll ask ur car n wut motor it has.... n when they ask if it has a/c or not say u don't have a/c.. it should fit... under the hood it'll show a pic of how u put the belt on n it shows how it goes with and without a/c.. so u should be able to get a new belt witout a/c that will go on properly... here its cheaper to get one frum the dealership ($39.95cnd at the dealership.. and $45.** frum candian tire)the a/c shouldn't get in the way of where the belt is going.... to be sure u might want to ask if it'll fit right when u go to the dealership to get it.
