Apply only to G-4 DOHC
Belt install G-4 Bull DOHC
1. Belt goes on Alt first.
2. Wrap belt around as per red line, ignoring the tensioner.
3. Hold tension at top while wrapping the tensioner per green arrow.
4. Spring tensioner and wrap top PS pulley.
Just did '03 DOHC in my drive, barely above freezing so I did some planning first. Gap between Alt pulley and A/C line insulation is minimum so belt goes there first and I had to use a long screw driver carefully to get it around. I used my mega Channel Locks for tensioner release and it went fine.
