What temp does beer freeze at? Maybe I shouldn't store my box in the garage if it's going to be 10° F outside.

Anyways, that's an interesting treat. I prefer my beer in liquid form though.

No, no, no, you got it all wrong!

Man, a beersicle is when you have the fridge set to THE perfect temperature, and you crack the beer open, and have the little bits of beer slushie floating around in the beer.

Seems to work best with glass bottles, and taste better that way too.

The temperature that beer freezes at depends on the alcohol content of the beer. Some states, like IA, limit alcohol content (IA beer is 5%ABW max compared to other states that allow 8%ABW). Alcohol freezes at a lower temperature than water, so the more alcohol, the colder the freezing point of the beer.

FYI, antifreeze has Ethylene Glycol in it (an alcohol) to prevent freezing and boiling.

liquor does freeze, your freezer isn't set low enough.
