I have a 92 SHO, and I know I have a bad motor mount. First off, the DIS module does not sit right because the engine is too far down. The reason I believe its a mount is because when I jacked up the car to get a better position on the motor to get at the Cam sensor, the motor moved into place, everything looked right. The Module would sit right against the motor like it should. The other reason I know its a mount is because the engine moves around a lot more than it should once its running. I'm not quite sure if its the front left mount or the rear mount...I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem...thank you.

Common problem with Taurus/Sable. Just replace both of them.

Does the rear mount take on pressure when you brake, because i hear that its usually the front right that goes bad. The Front left usually is ok from what I hear because its the transaxle-engine mount, and its a rare occurence for that mount to go bad. I also heard at SHO times.com that the rear mount rarely goes bad either...but do the front left and rear mounts normally go bad together? because if they do, then I had no idea...but its good to know now. I know I have to replace them, because otherwise I'll end up destroying my dis module, then the car won't run at all.
