I have a 1994 Ford Taurus with a 3.0 and I know that it would bolt up but I was wondering what other things that I would need to change to make this all possible. What would be the estimated cost to do such a thing. I lost my overdrive and I was wondering if this would be a worthwhile investment.
You major problem would be the electronics. I don't think this is a worthwhile adventure. You can get your OEM tranny rebuilt to take almost any abuse you want to give it if you go the SHO ATX route. Expect to spend over $2500 though.
I was looking at the signiture of sixfofalcon and noticed that he claims to have a AX4N. I wanted to know if you would need the pcm from that year vulcan and if that also meant that you would need that year vulcan also
