Back in the day I put a shift kit in one of my old truck's C-6 tranny. It opened up passages, replaced the spool springs, made the shifts more solid, and improved performance.

I found the Transgo shift kit for the AX4N and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. I'm asking because after the UDP and Xcal tuner, my transmission doesn't quite have the response that the engine does. It feels like the tranny is a step behind the engine.

On a related question, how does stall speed relate to a torque converter's performance? I'm not an auto guy, I've been known to fix automatic transmissions by swapping in manuals.
