If you are talking about the separator plate/gasket I would not unless it is damaged.

If I replace the retaining clip, do I need to replace the seals on the pump shaft. Im ready to do this, but the little stuff is starting to arise that I may not know the specifics about. Im very mechanical and have been inside engines, but never inside a trans. The write-up on the repair is very good, im just wondering about the little stuff that may have been omitted.

Thanks

My lock-up solenoid is reading 18+ ohms which is way out of spec according to the info I have, could that cause me to lose OD?

thanks

For the '98s and up the TCC resistance should be between 13-24 ohms.

Thanks for the reply, I guess Ive got no other choice but to pull the valve body. I was grabbing at straws trying not to pull it. I have not bought any gaskets or shaft seals yet, I was hoping that I wouldnt need to.
