I'm currently using a FM transmitter for my iPod and i want better sound from it, is there an aux input somewhere on a 96 LX with no cd controls? Or any way to convert the cd changer input into an aux in?

Some aftermarket CD players have Aux in...even on the front of the head unit for easy input... that is what i reccomend to have the best sound quality.

If you have CD changer controls, you should be able to find an aux in adapter. There are a lot of different ones for Ford systems, so someone else would have to clue you in on which to get. Or maybe go to a local shop and ask them what you need.
