Here's my attempt at line drawing. The lines were drawn using vectors. It took me a few hours over a few days. It took me a while to figure out how to do the shading. The wheels were pissing me off, so I just gave it the po-po wheels (even though it's a SLO).

Here's the original image that I "traced" over.

Thanks. Yeah, vectors are graphics scale w/o distortion. But then when everything's flattened and saved as jpeg, it's not vector anymore.

Looks pretty good! I see you've gotten the gradients down too! :thumb: What did you use for your windshield, it looks like a Photoshop smudge.

It was all done in Paint Shop Pro v8. For the windsheild, I basically filled the shape with gray and then on a separate layer (with the area still selected), I used the paint brush tool to draw some large low opacity white brush strokes and then blurred it. I used the same method for the body's shading (both black and white low opacity brush strokes).

Looks Great Alex :cool_shades:

Yeah, with the vectors, gradients, layers and low opacity white brush strokes

I just got done with finger painting, and paste eating.

If you happen to see Teh Bobbers, look at his left index finger, I painted that (finger painting) it is a mural of the grand canyon. ;)
