I just changed the engine mounts and now I'm changing the tie rods but I dont want to break anything.

Anyone have the torque specs or have any idea about the torque needed, 87 foot pounds will be ok?.

Thank you for all your help guys.

Some things you torque. Some you just tighten. Tie rod ends are just TIGHT. Some things are easy to reach for torque. Some difficult to impossible. Tie rod ends are thus. I have only head of one person having a tie rod come "un-tightened". And I have been around a LONG time.

Agree 100% with Mike (chartmaker). The only fasteners I use a torque wrench for are head bolts and lug nuts.
