i can't seem to find any gen 4 white gauge inserts for the taurus/sable. but didn't the centennial edition taurus come with white or cream gauges? but those are a ford part (expensive) and i'm assuming to get them u would have to buy the entire instrument cluster, does anyone know if you can buy the inserts seperate? better yet, any aftermarket inserts for the g4? i haven't seen any on ebay the last couple months.

what about white gauge faces or reverse glow gauges made for a Gen 3? Are they the same layout? Can anyone confirm this?

i had a g3 before the g4 i have now, and the icon thingys are different on the g4, other than that they are the same, but since th icons wouldn't match up, the g3 gauge covers won't work.

i think we found a winner for possible conversions
hopefully the aftermarket will get a clue and make some white faced ones for the g4's.

i ordered some reverse glow guages off of ebay for my gen 4. on the auction they were listed for a gen 4 but i was later told that they are actually made for a gen 3. Everything matches up except for a couple of the emblems are switched around. i think the bright light icon and the airbag icon and maybe one or two others are switched. even though they dont match up, you can still see them when it is dark. thats what i would do if i were you. it looks awesome!!!

Dredging up an old thread again, but I hate to duplicate if I do not have to. Anyway, has anything changed on this front yet? I would like to add some white faces, but I am not crazy about the EL style gauges. I want somehting stock looking but in white. Any thoughts or directions I should look?

I'm actually communicating with a company right now about white face gauges. Price looks to be around $55 for 5-10 orders and $50 for 11-15 orders. They are based off a 2001 model, so the idiot lights line up.

Long story short.
Saw some centennial seats on ebay last year and checked if they had the car that went with them.
And I lucked out. The car still had the gauges!! :)

I still can't believe I was so lucky with the limited amount of centennials built!!
I think it was 4,000 units.

Some 03 SEL's had em, not all.
Mine didn't them with a black interior.
IIRC, Nick (bullgeek) thought it depended on the interior color??

03+ Medium Parchment SELs got interior colored gauges w/a black bezel.

03+ Medium Graphite interiors on SEL models had a silver bezel around gauges.

03+ Dark Charcol interior SELs had standard black on black, just like a base SE model.

03+ Sables followed the same treatments as an SEL regardless of trim (GS or LS). In other words, your 03 GS w/medium parchment interior will have the beige gauges, similar to the Centennial edition minus the beige bezel.
