I'm having a heck of a time trying to remove the nut holding the antenna onto the rear fender. It wont budge at all. I dont have one of those tools for it. (rant) For this cars audio system u need a special tool to remove the antenna, and one for the radio, like anyone wants to steal the oem stuff anyways. (end rant) Can anyone help me out, I tried wd-40 and a flathead, but no go.

Thanks
-Nick

P.S. Im also in the process of looking for a tool, and a dealer said we dont sell tools or something like that, so I just left, I just wanted them to remove it hell i'd pay them a few dollars, lazy bums.

Yours was easy to take off, mind you you had already had it unscrewed, but mine, it seems to be stuck on (stripped?, I hope not). It won't budge, im not to worry about scratching it since I have the other one, nor worried about scratching the black/grey plastic piece.

"If it isn't an a$# its an elbow" Just when I thought it would be a simple install this problem arises.

I would just try some pliers if you're not worried about scratching it. And about the stereo removal tool - I just pushed a small philips screwdriver in the holes on my gen 3 and the radio popped loose.
Might want to try that.

moving this to electronics...

Thanks Jason, wasn't too sure where. I figured you'd be all over it

I'll try whatever it takes, im not worried about that stupid part. I have a feeling its stripped though, and that would be no good.
