What once was on top, now has met it's fate.

In her prime she had: 3 gauge pillar pod w/oil, temp, vacuum; center console gauge pod with volts, a/f; 24mm front swaybar; 26mm rear sway bar; TPR bushings all around, 24k tranny cooler, 2800 stall speed TC, built transmission, slicers with 225,55s; full catback with dual mufflers exhaust, full SHO interior, ported/ polished intake, Accel wires, 11.6" brakes in front, 10.4" vented brakes in the rear, brake bias plugs, Front & Rear SHO Shop strut tower braces, Cold air intake, Diablo chip, full SHO gauging, Tokico struts... And the list goes on. Here she was as she was being towed to the parts yard this morning.

at least she can't "see" where she's going, with no headlights

Did you at least gut her of all her parts before she got towed away?
G
Why is it going away?
And you let them take it on a chevy tow truck!? <_<

Damn, that sucks Mikey.
RIP Indego Metallic

The car had been hit on the side near the rear wheel and had some significant suspension damage.

Adam,

I pulled most of the stuff off. I left the numbers on the windshield from the SHO convention (war numbers
).

The car was in a minor right rear accident, but it tore up the center control arm brace on the frame and destroyed the right rear wheel as well as suspension, strut tower, etc.

Will there be a reserrection??

There is always room for a COME BACK

Probably not a SLO comeback, but a Taurus comeback.

I want to get a SHO to turn into a mildly modded summer driver. That would make my 14th SHO... They come and go, but there is only one SLO.

How did the brakes work out?

Dude,

My daughter totaled my 94Gl on 4-1-04 . turned left in front of a minivan doing 65 or greater. Hit it behind the drivers side rear door. Took out the suspension bumper, wheel bent the gas tank.
Mine is the same color and everything. Three of my kids were in the car everybody was OK though.

Sorry to hear about the indigo bull

Truly an end of an era. I'm very sorry, Mikey. A moment of silence.

RIP Mikey's Taurus!
you mean Rest In Pieces! (since it is going to the parts yard)

Sorry, I had to say that..

Well, that sucks that a small accident messed so much stuff up and made it get towed..
thats the problem getting attached ti anything in life..

In the Hindu bible (the Bhagvad Gita) it says: Sole cause of misery in life is because we get attached to things in life.....

A customer of mine that wanted a part off of the Taurus called the yard and was told that she was already cubed.

Who'd of thunk that would've ever happened. A year ago she was in her prime.
