the chip i have now is slamming my trans really hard going into 2nd gear. way more than i think it should be. so much, that i haven't even turned my chip on lately. do u have a program where you can switch back to stock.. and have a switch? depending on the price i might be interested also.

ok...so i also have the apten chip. with the switch for stock programming. could you use that? if u can would it make the cost any cheaper? as long as there is no NOTICABLE major differences (like the trans slamming..) that my hubbie would notice, than i wouldn't need the stock setting. just performance. the chip i have now is the Apten chip. which they used a blank diablo chip. and my transmission was rebuilt like 70,000 miles ago.
for anyone who has bought Aptens chip, i have a question, cause i can't remember, but did the chip have some plastic jacks to plug something that seems would clip in on the bottom? and are they diablo delta blanks? and are they black? i think they are but i can't remember.
