I'd be in for one. Don't know right now if I want the chip or the reflash. Which one do you think is best?? Also I planned on coming down to do this. So I wont have to mail my ECU since the ECU code is probably different from what it says. You say your Virgina, well I'm in NY so it aint that far. Just waint for my tax return to get here. Another week or so I think, so don't do the preorder right away.

D Man, make sure you let us know when you're drivin' down. You'll be driving right by us on the way, so we could do lunch or whatever.

You may also wanna ask Alberto about his Micro tuner. It lets you flash your own computer. I think you buy it and he sends you the flasher with one program on it. You can flash your own car and if you ever need a new tuning file, you just ship him back the flasher and he'll put on a new program, or if you buy the cable, he can just e-mail you the new file and you can upload it yourself.

I need a chip for my 2000 vulcan FFV that will take off the limiters, make the FFV sensor think its running lots of alcohol through it so it will let my injectors pump what they are made to do, and firm up the shifts, and anything else that people like to have done when they get a chip burned. Thanks a mill.

I have the diablo I inquired about before that needs re-programming, but I'd probably be further ahead just to get an entire chip from you. Depending on price, I'd be interested.

Price is usually $325 plus $15 s/h for a stockish car. For the group purchase, prices will be lower, as stated above.

The chip will improve throttle response, engine braking, automatic transmssion performance and overall pep. I will also turn on the fans sooner to have the car run cooler, optimize a/f, optimize timing for more power, firm up transmission shifts, optimize shift points, Revises torque converter function to eliminate shudder and allow it to run cooler and other tuning tweaks. The chip will also remove the speed limiter, Faster manual downshifs, etc.

If you want max power, you will need to run 93 octane. If you chose to run regular, you will not see any power gains, but you will see all else above.

I have an Apten chip (Black Diablo chip blank) and a switch for stock programming. How much would just your programming cost?

the chip i have now is slamming my trans really hard going into 2nd gear. way more than i think it should be. so much, that i haven't even turned my chip on lately. do u have a program where you can switch back to stock.. and have a switch? depending on the price i might be interested also.
I can make a chip for you that will get the trans pressure right. Ask Dan how his is. I have a ten day satisfaction guarantee, so feel freeto try it out.

Also Have you done any work to your trans? Who made your current chip. I will have flip chips in a couple of weeks, but I think with my chip you will likethe trans feel.

I also offer a Microtuner that will allow you to flashyour car yourself with a file I make, and reflash it to stock if ever need be, but it is a little more expensive than a chip. You can check the details on it on my website if you want to know a little more about it, on the products page, or I can asnswer any questions.

ok...so i also have the apten chip. with the switch for stock programming. could you use that? if u can would it make the cost any cheaper? as long as there is no NOTICABLE major differences (like the trans slamming..) that my hubbie would notice, than i wouldn't need the stock setting. just performance. the chip i have now is the Apten chip. which they used a blank diablo chip. and my transmission was rebuilt like 70,000 miles ago.
