K i was looking at air intake stuff and i found these, air breathers
i saw some installed on some cars but i dont really know what theyre for

I wouldn't do it. I mean, I've done it, but I wouldn't reccommend it. I've heard from a few people that breathers create a vacuum leak and the vacuum leak messes up the pcv system, and if your pcv system is messed up, you may end up blowing your rear main seal like I did, or possibly something worse.

Sabletuner, search is your friend I ran a search for "breather" and set the timeframe to "any" and came up with several results, the thread having the title having to do with the cold air intake is helpful.
