I have a 1990 Ford Taurus. When i bought i about a year ago, the airbag light will light up and flash 3 times and then there will be a delay for a few second and then it will flash again. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or know how to fix it, thanks

The flashes with pauses in between are actually diagnostic codes that can be looked up on the Interweb. i.e. 4 flashes, pause, 4 flashes would be a code 44, which IIRC is a bad ground to the right front impact sensor. (I had to re-mount the sensor). This can help determine what is wrong with your SRS system. Sounds like you have a code 30-something.

There are some air bag codes at the bottom of the topic finder, but didnt see 30. Maybe do a google search for the info.

the code sequence would be flashes (first #) - one second pause - flashes (second #) - three second pause - sequence repeats - air bag light stays on. Count your flashes carefully, noting pause lengths, and let us know what you got.

I think there may be a few missing, but this is a lot of them that are the same year to year.

i dont know what happended but the light stoped flashing, but thanks anyways guys
