Hello folks,
I have thought about adding fog lamps to my '01 (would that make it a GEN IV? I am new to this Ford stuff after owning a Saturn for 7 years). Has anybody done it and if so how hard would it be?
I do have access to a lift if need be; best part about working here. Also, does it look good

? My car is Silver. I am not going to go nuts with mods or anything; but would like to add these since I do travel from Ohio to NJ and NYC a few times a year; PA gets so vicious fog.
Also, is tinting out on the rear windshield (I know odd term but that's what BMW calls it)? I wasn't sure with the defroster; but the sun is seriously ticking off my almost 4 month old; and I think tint would help her to not blow out my ear drums!

i have a 96 gl and i added fog lights...its real easy depending on how you wanna do it.. you can make it harder but it doesnt have to be..check out my sig and site for pics...and ask me any questions...o ya i just bought some $20 cyberwhite fog lights from meijer.. i do not recommend these for anything else but looks.. they arent bright enough to really do anything

My friend found some really bright fog lights at Wal-mart for only $20. Seek, and ye shall find.

I put mine behind the grille. You culdnt see them at all when I didnt have them on. They worked good, but one kept blowing the bulb soIstopped replacing it. Ihad it aimed decently low, so that it actually did help with vision in fog & rain. Sorry for the poor quality pic, this was taken like 3 years ago with a disposable cam.
