Hello folks,
I have thought about adding fog lamps to my '01 (would that make it a GEN IV? I am new to this Ford stuff after owning a Saturn for 7 years). Has anybody done it and if so how hard would it be?
I do have access to a lift if need be; best part about working here. Also, does it look good
? My car is Silver. I am not going to go nuts with mods or anything; but would like to add these since I do travel from Ohio to NJ and NYC a few times a year; PA gets so vicious fog.
Also, is tinting out on the rear windshield (I know odd term but that's what BMW calls it)? I wasn't sure with the defroster; but the sun is seriously ticking off my almost 4 month old; and I think tint would help her to not blow out my ear drums!

Thanks for the advice and such,
Tina from C-town

<---- See Avatar Also, click on the "My TCCA Pics" link in my sig and there are some more pics of it there. I installed the Sable factory fog kit on my Taurus. I'll be putting together a how-to article soon.

I think you saw mine at our Cleveland meet Tina.

I put mine behind the grille. You culdnt see them at all when I didnt have them on. They worked good, but one kept blowing the bulb soIstopped replacing it. Ihad it aimed decently low, so that it actually did help with vision in fog & rain. Sorry for the poor quality pic, this was taken like 3 years ago with a disposable cam.
