I can only get 17/25 mpg on my 1999 TAURUS SE, I heard some guys can get 24/30 for their bulls. Is there anything wrong with my car? Or need I do something to get high MPG?
Oh forgot to ask, how heavy in your foot. I know I would do better if I would quit taking off so fast or speeding around slower cars on the interstate.

My foot is pretty heavy, too. With my car I've seen just shy of 31 on the highway and I think the best I ever got in the city was 24. Generally I get an average of about 26 with mixed highway/city. (60% highway probably) However I am 99.9999% sure that my intake silencer removal, k&n filter and flowmaster muffler increased my MPG.
I get about 19-20 in the city - short trips about 6 - 12 miles city driving.
this is on my bone stock vulcan with 133 kmiles on it.
Also I have a feeling that I am getting a slightly better mpg now that I changed to 10w30 motor oil.
