A/c Doesn't Blow Cold Like I Exspect

doesn't matter how far you drive, 20 miles and its still blowing at maybe 69 degrees. I don't have any check engine light or anything. What cold I change to make it blow cold like the day she rolled off the dealer floor?

So it's cool, but not cold? Could be your blend door (Unlikely if the temperature is still adjustable) or you just need to put more coolant in your A/C system.
with the AC on and blower on high look at the AC compressor pulley and see if the disc on the end is turning with the pulley. If it only stays on for a couple of seconds then off for while then on for couple seconds then the refrigerant most likely has leaked out.
Note, the outdoor temp needs to be warm 75-80 degrees to check. Its normal for the compressor to short cycle when its cold outside
I'll check that out this weekend, thanks guys.

Could it be because I have the stock belt? Maybe its slipping, but I don't hear it.
i think for about 20 buck go by a can of freeon and recharch it. its soooo cold afterwards
Ok,

First off, it's a 97 so it's R-134a so you can get it for less than $5.00 a can at Wal- mart.

Second, is the compressor even turning on?

Third, what are your high and low side pressures, outside ambient temperature?

outside is about 75
high and low side pressure are perfect. cabin filter has been changed. compressor is comming on.

I'm going to try and squirt some stuff in there
BAD IDEA!!!!!!!

If the High and Low side pressures check out for 75* day then DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE SYSTEM!!! What were the pressures by the way?
UPDATE:

Today I hooked up a can of the good stuff to the low pressure service port while the AC was on blast. After 10 mins the ac was colder than ever!!

The pressure might look good on paper, but you still might need to recharge.

Glad it worked, but what were the pressures? And what is the good stuff?
