Hello, all. I've searched the forums and YouTube for the best method to remove the AC compressor on my 2005 Taurus 24v DOHC. I did this job 3.5 years ago and took the compressor out from the top driver's side. Now the compressor I installed back then has started leaking from the shaft seal (I believe), so I need to do this job again.

I'm also going to replace the accumulator, orifice tube, and a noisy belt tensioner at the same time.

Has anyone found an easier way of fishing the compressor out rather than behind the radiator and up by the driver's side from the top? Can you lower the passenger side subframe and take it out from the bottom? Or any other methods?

Just looking for some last minute guidance before I tackle this bear of a job again.

Ok, I'm starting this tonight. I guess I'll do it the same way behind the radiator and from the top driver's side. I'll still take any other suggestions though. ?
