Can someone please advise this situation? It is really hot! There was hardly any cool air out of vents of my 2002 Wagon SE, 3.0 Vulcan.
I added two cans of 134a and vent temp read 68 degrees. Added one more and no change (oops, I later found out that the system capacity is 34 oz.).
Here are the readings:
Static: 80 degrees Low 98 High 98
Running: 98 degrees Low 52 High 255
I hoped for a real low vent reading. What is the ideal? Maybe too much refrigerant?
Thanks for your help.

Well, you probably did put to much in and the pressure is to high so the compressor is not kicking on anymore.

Is your compressor coming on? (Should hear a click when you turn MAX A/C on, and another click when u turn the system off).

If it needed that much refrigerant it probably had air in the system. Air reduces the efficiency and the moisture in it damages the system. Find the leak, repair, and have the system evacuated then recharged with the proper amount of refrigerant. You may need more oil too.
