Good luck, man. I tried forever to sell my '97 SHO...traded her in March of '03 and got a whopping $4400.

Not in New Jersey. I looked it up awhile back. Right now, I pay $2200 for full coverage on a 98' Sable w/Duratec. For me to get a 98' SHO, my insurance would be over $3000.Originally posted by DJFergi@Apr 27 2004, 04:15 PM
Thanks,
But as far as the insurance goes, The SHO costs the same as a regular taurus. I had both at one point in time and the insurance premium was the same.

I can definitely vouch for this car. It is is immaculate condition, extremely well maintained, and very powerful. And that V8 note is to die for! The car is definitely worth every penny he's askin'!![]()
Good luck with the Maxi... er, I30![]()
Oh, and as a side note, notwithstanding New Jersey, insurance between SLO and SHO Taurii costs the same.

Now correct me if i am wrong, but your infinity has a 3.0L V6 engine, and ur tauri has the 3.4 V8, why would you want the infinity over the taurus? I mean ok so the infinity is a nice sedan with all the nice options, my mom has one too but she has the I35! So woudnt the infinity be a little slower?
Not to get COMPLETELY off subject....but by the same token, I've driven an I30 to Daytona for a week during spring break...with three six-foot 200lbs+ guys in it, it took over 1/2 mile to go from 85mph-95mph....tell me how fast would the 98 SHO done it? Made me wish for my 91 V6 LOL!Originally posted by godspunk32+Apr 30 2004, 07:16 AM-->QUOTE (godspunk32 @ Apr 30 2004, 07:16 AM)<!--QuoteBegin-av10sguyDisplacement doesn't always equal speed.@Apr 30 2004, 01:05 AM

A 1971 Boss 302 Mustang could beat the pants off a 1971 Camaro with a 350.
A 1.3 liter RX-8 Rotary could probably beat the crap out of a 3.0 Duratec Taurus.
It all depends on what's in the engine, as well as the weight of the car.
