I was trying to replace the timing cover gasket on a friend's car this weekend but couldn't get the darn crank bolt loose with my impact so that I could then remove the balancer. I have seen a lot of misinformation as well as to whether or not the bolt on this engine is reverse threaded. Are there any crank holder/flywheel holding tools available for this engine like there is for the Duratec?

Put the car in gear and use a breaker bar.
