I have a 97 Vulcan Taurus with the stock AX4N trans. And i found out that the 90-92 Ford Probes with the Vulcan had a 5 speed. So i was wondering if i could take one of those 5 speed trannys and toss it in my Taurus? They are both 3.0 Vulcan V6's. If someone could shine some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

You could do it but the SHO transmission would be a better fit. It will take some work and tuning.
