Hi,

I have a 96 Taurus wagon LX, I am having trouble getting it to start, the car turns over but won't start, I can hear the fuel pump running. After several times it will eventually start but it dies right away. I think it may be the CCRM but not sure. If anyone can offer a suggestion I would really appreciate it.

thanks in advance

I doubt it is a CCRM problem. Check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Just because the pump runs doesnt mean it is putting out enough presure / volume. If the pump primes and runs during crank, the PCM is being powered up by the relay in the CCRM.
