I am a big problem with my 94. I am losing brake fluid and no lines are leaking. Where could it be going? Brakes are soft and spongy. I am in real trouble here been through 20 bucks worth of fluid trying to figure this out. Anyone have any clues here?

I will appreciate any and all clues anyone can up with thank you.

Check your master cylinder

If you don't see leaks at the calipers/drums or anywhere on the lines, this is the only other component.

Soft and spongy sounds about right since worn seals in the master cylinder will be letting fluid bypass the piston.

I am losing fluid but no leaks in the lines. The brakes are spongy big time. I have ordered a new OEM Ford Master Cylinder. Any other clues on what to check?

Cool thank you rick. Not up on this car and just got it. Now my F150 lol well that is a different story.

Guess I will find that out when I pull it to put the new one on. Thank you 97LX. I will make sure to check it.

What might be the best way to bench bleed the new master cylinder?
