Didn't really know where to put this but I guess it should work here.

Rear windows in my car don't work, power locks only when the drivers door is in a certain position, passenger door window only works when one wire coming out of the weather boot for the drivers door wiring harness is grounded and then only by the passenger door switch. I'm 99 percent sure my door wiring harness connecter is fubar but how do I attack it. Do I just take the door off pull the boot hope there's some way to repair the connector? Do I try find one at a junk yard cut it out from under the dash and wire it in? this is the biggest and pretty much final issue I think I could fix myself on my car, and I need some advice on how not to make it worse. only thing i have found on the internet to help is I have a color coded wiring diagram. I'm not a novice when it comes to wiring but a connector this big is very daunting.
