I'm looking to replace the fuel pump in my 92 sable wagon, I'm having trouble finding where and how people have cut an access panel in the back to get to it instead of dropping the whole tank. The couple of links I have found went to disabled pages or were no longer available... I have the new pump in hand and have been searching everywhere. Thanks for any help.

Dropping the tank isn't fun, but it's not as bad as people say. And many say there are risks associated with cutting the access panel. It might be worth it to just grin and bear it and lower the tank. I just used a jack stand to support one end of it, and a floor jack under the other end, and gradually lowered it. Not the easiest job ever, but not the hardest. Just my two cents.
