I have a quick question concerning the replacment of the A/C evaporator core in a '91 Taurus. I have the evaporator case removed and have already replaced the heater core. However, the area for the evaporator is sealed AllDataDIY says to :

  1. Drill a 3/16 inch hole in both upright tabs on top of evaporator case.
  2. Using a suitable cutting tool, cut top of evaporator case between raised outline.
  3. Fold the cut out flap from opening and lift evaporator core from case.
Anyone have hints or advice as to where precisly to drill the holes or cut around the areas that do not have a raised outline such as on the upright tabs or mounting tab?

Thanks for any and all hep.
