'91 Continental Vs '95 Taurus Se
Raced my friend a few times tonight in his brother's '91 Lincoln Continental. The Continentals had the 3.8L police package engine which made 20hp and 15tq more than the standard 3.8L.. Though its a little heavier.
Both of us left at the same time from a brakestand and it was pretty well even all the way. We only got up to maybe 45mph, at which point my taurus was starting to pull on him.
I had a trunk load of s*** too, which I'm sure didn't help.
Just thought I'd share.
