Hey everyone, I haven't posted in a while.

My 2000 Taurus has a few tranny issues.

Early in the morning, I get torque shudder, which goes away after the car warms up.

After it's warm, 3rd gear slips. The engine will rev, but the tranny is slow to catch up. This usually only happens after I come off the interstate and get down to around 25-35 mph in 3rd gear on the exit ramp and then try to accelerate.

What's weird about this is that if I come to a full stop at the end of the exit ramp and run the car through the gears from 1 through 4, there is NO slip.

If I accelerate full throttle or 3/4 throttle through the gears from a dead stop there is also no slip.

It only seems to happen when I slow down and then try to speed back up from 3rd gear.

Any ideas?

Could electrical issues cause this?
