Does anybody recommend getting halogen reverse lights for better reverse visibility? I see several for sale on the internet, and they seem to have much better light output than comparable LEDs. Thanks!

LEDs are terrible for actualy lighting stuff that you're reversing towards. They look neat, but light output for that kind of application is just no good.

JC Whitney sells a 50 watt halogen 3156.

I had a pair in the cornering lamps of my 91 Sable LS, made me love using my turn signals. :p

Do you have a picture of the 3156 Halogen bulbs? All I am getting for search results are the stock ones, or halogen ones that are in a box and you can't see the bulbs.

I could only find the pic of the 1156 halogen. I have bought the 3156 version of this bulb from them before. We may have to call their parts dept. and ask about the 3156. The bulb looks the same, just the base is different.
