I am in the process of removing a water pump. The engine has to be jacked up for two of the long bolts
to clear the inner fender. I got one bolt out (at about the 3 o'clock position on pump) but the second
bolt looks like I will have to jack the engine about three or four inches at least (9 o'clock position on
pump). My question is what do I have to disconnect to get the engine that high? I have removed
the front and rear engine mount bolts and jacked up the engine a bit. That allowed me to remove
the water pump pulley and one long water pump bolt. Does the exhaust have to be removed?
A/C hoses? TIA

You shouldn't have to do anything else. I got mine out simply by unbolting the mounts and jacking up the engine.

I got my long stud/bolts out by cutting the unthreaded tips off with my Dremel & a Harbor Freight diamond cutting wheel.
You can shorten them about 1/4 inch that way, without messing up the threads & it makes it easier to remove & install the WP.
